Print Sale Proceeds to the FALLEN AMERICAN VETERANS FOUNDATION, Inc.
The proceeds of all print sales are donated to the Fallen American Veteran Foundation, Inc. (FAVF) (www.fallen-amvets.org) to aid in the return of US Service Personnel Missing In Action (MIA), Killed In Action/Body Not Recovered (KIA/BNR.) In September 2010 the Fallen American Veterans Foundation, Inc. assisted North South Polar, Inc. with the US Coast Guard Mission to search for the USCG WWII J2F-4 Grumman Duck amphibious bi-plane crew. The aircraft and its crew was en route with a US Army Air Corps (USAAC) crewman rescued from a downed B-17 Flying Fortress on the Greenland ice cap located just 30 miles from the Lost Squadron crash site. A second mission is scheduled to take place in the near future to finalize the location of the crew and aircraft up to 50 feet below the surface of the ice sheet.
The Fallen American Veterans Foundation, Inc. continues to work to fund the recovery of 3 US Navy air crewmen (www.navyflyers.org) lost in the explosion and crash of their PBM-5 Martin Mariner the "George 1" from up to 150 feet below the surface of the Thurston Island glacier.
